Divorce Financial Planning

Voyager Capital Management's divorce-related financial analysis can help you secure a fair and appropriate settlement -- and the financial planning needed for life after divorce.
This information, analysis, and planning is valuable no matter how the divorce is being handled:
- Mediated -- with the guidance of a trained Mediator
- Collaborative -- through the Collaborative Law Process
- Litigated -- through the Civil Court process.
Voyager's Certified Divorce Financial Analyst ™, Amy Barrett, is a Mediator and trained in the Collaborative Law Process -- both neutral divorce proceeding approaches that focus on problem solving and that can benefit from the financial clarity provided by a CDFA. She works with clients throughout the region, serving them from Voyager's Rockford, Illinois office as well as its Lake Geneva, Wisconsin office.
We work with individuals facing a divorce, and attorneys representing clients in divorce proceedings.
How We Engage
Depending on the unique needs of each case, Voyager engages in the following manners:
- Work closely with legal counsel to preserve divorce client confidentiality, or work directly with an individual going through the divorce proceeding or collaboration process, maintaining any level of engagement that legal counsel or the individual desires;
- Provide research and consult on application of the findings;
- Prepare reports for settlement discussions and for court use;
- Bill hourly or per project, depending on the nature of the assignment.
